  JD Gator XUV 620i clutch

new to the gator forum....anyone know who makes the drive clutch on an 07 xuv 620i?....would like to get a little more up hill speed out of it....

  JD Gator XUV 620i clutch

it drops a good 10mph pullin' a small hill and really gets down in speed up a big hill.....it kind of feels like it has a shutter when pullin' hills...only has a 111 hours on it(had 89 hours when i bought it)....could the belt be bad already?...it's an 07 and i bought it used....looks like i'm goin' to have to buy a clutch puller....i wish there was a clutch kit like for other brands...

  JD Gator XUV 620i clutch

i pulled the cover and check the buttons and they look like new...i measured the belt and it was 30mm the manual says 29mm and replace...how wide is a new one?

just had the plugs out the other day checkin' the valve lash...they are both firin'...engine runs great just seems like something is slippin'.in the drive train....i had a Honda odyssey and it would act this way when the belt got glazed....had they ever came out with a belt dressin' for these things?

checked the rod and it is bolted up tight....i guess i need a belt?....i'v looked on the net and can't find any performance belts or any belts for it....guess i'll have to go to the JD dealer....

got a new belt today...i measured it and it's just a shade under 34mm...haven't put it on yet...will report back after install...

ok got the new belt on(was stretched and wore down 4mm) a...pulls the hills like it should and no shutterin'!!!!....i also put on new parkin' brake pads....i think the last owner road around with the parkin' brake on....smoked the belt and the pads.....parkin' brake locks tight with 3 clicks and i have to give it a lot less gas to make it go!!!!
